WHO IS TO BE BLAMED FOR THE HIGH INCIDENCE OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN OUR SOCIETY

Domestic violence has become a thing of concern, it occurs irrespective of your gender, age, race, culture, nationality and social class. Domestic violence is the physical abuse, the negligence, the verbal abuse but the negative impact on the emotional, psychological, spiritual and mental well-being of the affected person cannot be overemphasized. Many lives of loved ones have been lost as result of domestic violence and its negative impact on their well-being. People that have passed through this abuse suffer a lot of things that you cant even begin to imagine, the stigma, the constant fear, the nightmares, the low self esteem, the loss of sense of  who they are and the thought of why it has to be them, the lack of trust, loss of emotion, the paranoia, its more than you and I can imagine.

Its important to understand that both men and women suffer domestic violence, but the greater percentage being the defenseless sisters, mothers, wives in every race, culture, nation and country. The most reported being the violence that occur in a marriage or relationship, but its occurs among siblings. The parents and society are always the first point of contact for every individual, children observe and learn to say or do exactly what they see others do. When they see either their mummy slap or hit their daddy or their daddy slap or hit their mother they feel its OK and normal, and they will do same to their sister or brother or even their friends at school. Parents have the most important role to play to help reduce or eradicate abuse in our society. If your phone or computer hangs up on you during an important call or business meeting and you do not hit or slam it on the wall, am sure you can control your anger and dismay and walk away from an unpleasant argument or confrontation. Violence is never an answer to anything. "SAY NO TO VIOLENCE OR ABUSE OF ANY FORM".

My heart goes out to all the victims of Domestic violence, we might not know exactly what you have been through, but we want you to know that we care to put an end to it, so our children and their generation to come will never go through such pain and agony. You are stronger than what has happened  and will surely find your path to true love, joy and happiness.

Please If you know anybody that has been through violence of any form, always reach out to them, please don't participate in criticizing and gossiping about the victim. They have been through a lot already, love them. pray for them, encourage them, get them the help they need to get better.

"WE CREATE THE CHANGE WE DESIRE"
"SAY NO TO VIOLENCE OR ABUSE OF ANY FORM"

STAY HAPPY! STAY STRONG!
