Tyrese ex-wife , Norma Mitchell Gibson, alleged that she was abused by Tyrese. She claimed that when she was pregnant with their child in 2007, Tyrese rushed into their bedroom at midnight, poured water on her and then punched her several times all over her body.  She also claimed that the abuse continued after the birth of their daughter Shayla. In the court documents that she filed on August 19,  she also alleged that when Shayla was with Tyrese he allegedly “pushed their daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.”   Now , the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services closed their investigation and will not be pressing any criminal charges against Tyrese.  Tyrese then went on his IG page to thank his wife, see the message below.
