SONNY MELTON, The first confirmed victim of Las Vegas massacre was a registered nurse who died protecting his wife. His wife and best friend Heather Melton,a Surgeon told CNN about the husband's life, she said he was called sonny but he was literally sunshine. Sonny's mum said he's smile was infectious. They have been together for 5 years and worked in the same OR because they didn't want to be apart from each other. They were always holding hands, they slept together holding hands and were together till the end. At the concert he died saving Heather from the gunshots. She said he always puts other people before himself. When asked about her life without her husband she said "Am not really sure how to do that, its not something you learn in life, like how to tie your shoes or learning how to ride a bike. You are never prepared for something like this, am not sure how to thrive without him". He was just 29 years old.
