OCTOBER! DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH.

The month of October is the month of Domestic Violence Awareness which was first held in October 1981. The goal is to educate people about domestic violence, its impact on the victims, and how you can get help for yourself and for someone you know. Domestic violence is any act that negatively affects the physical, emotional, economical and spiritual well-being of an individual. The purple color is worn for this movement, its a symbol of courage, of peace, of honor and the means to end this act of violence.  Domestic violence involves families including child abuse, elder abuse, and any form of abuse between family members. The impacts and aftermath of this inhumane act can never be overemphasized, the victims of domestic violence suffer all kinds of distress, the fear, the loss of self, the paranoia, the depression and the nightmares. It really takes a miracle and interventions to get them back on their feet, to be able to love, trust and live again. We hope that this month brings salvation to everybody affected by this inhumane act, that they are reached, they get the help they need and they recover and help others get better.

To every family or individual that has lost a loved one through domestic violence, we pray for strength and healing, we hope that you help inspire individuals and create awareness in your communities and neighborhood in this month, to get the help they need.

Everybody is expecting a miracle from them, when individually same people train up their boys to grow up into the same personality of men they are complaining about. You see some percentage of women still do not allow the boys do chores at home, and you expect them to grow up and change automatically. We need to create the change we desire, not just for us,but for generations to come. We want our daughter to be in a better place than we were and to be loved more.  We need to train up our boys to be loving and understand that it does not make you any less of a man when you help our in kitchen, do dishes, clean the house, do laundry, take out the trash, pick up the clothes lying around the house, rather it makes you a better person. they need to understand that their are no specific chores assigned to a specific gender ...
