1. Bacterial Vaginosis; It is the most common cause of vaginal infection in women. A healthy vagina has complex bacterial flora with lactobacili accounting for 50 to 90% of the microbes. This bacteria is responsible for the acidic environment of the vagina. Bacterial Vaginosis result as overgrowth of G. Vaginalis or other anaerobic bacteria. Studies shows that this bacterial infection causes an increased risk in pregnant women for premature labor and delivery and low-birth-weigh infants.
If left untreated, it can lead to endometritis. Women with bacterial Vaginosis usually show no symptom, the only complaint is malodorous discharge.

2. Candidiasis is the second most common cause of vaginitis in women. Canidida albicans are part of the normal vaginal flora but overproliferation occurs when there is a change in the vaginal environment or bacteria flora. Symptoms include itching, soreness, white curd-like discharge and pain when urinating.
3. Trichomoniasis is the most common of all the parasitic gynecologic infection. This disease is a sexually transmitted disease. Men usually shows no symptoms. In pregnant women, it can cause preterm rupture and premature labor and delivery if left untreated.
4. HPV (Human Papillomavirus) is the most common sexually transmitted infection. HPV is the most common cause of cervical cancer. Depending on the strain, HPV viruses causes warts (a skin growth) in various parts of the body.
5. HSV (Human Simplex Virus); HSV causes contagious sores especially around the mouth or genital areas. It is also a sexual transmitted disease.
