FORBES LIST OF HIGHEST-PAID ATHLETES OF ALL TIME, BANKING IN BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.....

According to Forbes, NBA star Michael Jordan is the highest paid athlete of all time with over $1.7 billion dollars in 2016. Below are the top highest paid athletes:

1. MICHAEL JORDAN: He is a retired American Professional basketball player, he is worth $1.39 billion. According to Forbes, the NBA's greatest player made $93 million in salary in his 15 seasons for the Wizards and Bull, he makes over $100 million annually from Nike.

2. TIGER WOODS: He is an American Professional golfer,  according to Forbes he is worth $740 million and earned $1.65 billion in career earnings. He earned $45 million in the 12 month ending in June off the course.

3. ARNOLD PALMER: He is an American Professional golfer, according to Forbes he earned $1.35 billion in career earning. He earned $40 million annually in his life but he died in September due to complication from heart problem.

4. JACK NICKLAUS: He is a retired American Professional golfer, in career earning he banked in $1.15 billion according to Forbes.

5. MICHAEL SCHUMACHER: He is a retired German Racing driver, his career earnings is $1 billion according to Forbes, he is worth over $800 million. The seven-time F1 legend is currently in induced coma after he suffered a horrific accident in 2013.

6.  KOBE BRYANT: He is a retired American Professional basketball player, according to Forbes his career earnings is $770 million.

7. FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR: He is a former professional boxer, his career earnings is $765 million. According to Forbes, His fight with Pacqulao generated $600 million and he earned the undefeated Mayweather $240 million.

8. PHIL MICKELSON: He is an American Professional golfer, his career earning according to Forbes is $760 million.

9. DAVID BECKHAM: He is a former professional football player, he played for clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid. His career earnings according to Forbes is $730 million.

10. SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: He is a retired American professional basketball player and a rapper, according to Forbes his career earnings is $700 million.
