I agree with Kim on this one, "We don’t see color in my home" Kim Kardashian wrote.

Some people on social media deemed Kim’s Kardashian Aaliyah’s “Try Again” Inspired Halloween costume as “offensive” and “disrespectful.” Kim Kardashian  apologized for her decision to dress up as the late singer Aaliyah for Halloween. She wrote this on her website,

“Aaliyah was such an amazing singer and she will forever be a music legend,”Kardashian wrote on her website. “I saw online that some people thought my costume was in poor taste and I am truly sorry if that offended anyone.”
“When I was creating the costume, I wasn’t dressing up as a race or culture but rather as a woman whom I will always admire,” she continued. “I play every kind of genre of music in my home and I like for my kids to be exposed to many different artists.”

“For me, it’s always about love and respect,” wrote Kardashian, noting that her son Saint went as Axl Rose and her sister Kourtney as Michael Jackson. “We don’t see color in my home. We were paying homage to people and artists we love and respect — it’s that simple!”

I think that Kim is been singled out for no reason. Her Sister Kourtney dressed up as Michael Jackson and did not face such kind of criticism that Kim faced. I am not a fan of the Kardashian, I am just calling it as it is. I agree with Kim on this one, her family does not see color. Her family have a long history of dating guys from different background. Kim is married to African America and she have the right to explore her husband’s culture. I think she loves the culture and seems happy in her marriage and I think she should be left alone.
