"ONE DAY AT A TIME"; MY NEW MANTRA

This is my new mantra " To take one day at a time".  I have learned that been anxious and worrying about issues that come up in our lives will not bring solutions to them. Suppose you found out that in three works that you could be laid off your job. You begin to worry about the financial impact it will cause you and your family. So many thoughts start coming into your mind, you start to worry that bills might go unpaid, losing your home, or you may not be able to keep up with your lifestyle.
You set off your mind and body into panic mood.  For some when they are under stress, they shutdown communications with family and friends. They stay at home all day, indulging in eating unhealthy food. Some people will turn to alcohol or drugs to help them relieve that pain and fear. At the end of the day those thoughts or habits will not fix the problem. It will only cause more harm than good. Overeating will not only cause weight gain, it might lead to type 2 diabetes. For people who turn to drugs and alcohol, it self-destructs, nothing good will come out of it. If you are faced with difficulty in your life, talk to your family and friend. Instead of causing fears and panic, think only of options. Start making plans, in this case for instance, start applying to jobs even if it means working a menial job. Stay humble and start working your way up again; at least it will bring you a paycheck at the end of the day. Cut down on things that are wants, only focus your needs for now. Remember to put away money every month in a savings account as emergency funds.

These are loved ones, mothers, wives, daughters, uncles, Aunties of families waiting for them to come home and tell them all the stories of the beautiful concert in Las Vegas but unfortunately their life was cut short for no reason. They are heroes who gave up their lives protecting the ones they loved and doing what is right to save another life. They will forever be remembered.   Its sad but we can only pray for peace and strength for the families.  # PRAYFORVEGAS# #SAY-NO-TO-VIOLENCE#.  ADRIAN MURFITT;    A 35 year old, young man described by his friends as jolly, happy and caring person.
